Nobody pays to sit under this tree.
Shade Tree is free to attend and always will be. What it costs is chairs and materials, a banner so people can find us, insurance so we can gather safely, and training for the leaders who make each new gathering possible.
A little every month lets us plan ahead.
Some folks would rather give a little every month than a lot at once. It is the same as any gift, just spread out. Set it once, change or stop it any time, and no, it does not make you a member of anything. Nobody buys a seat under this tree.
| Amount | What it does |
|---|---|
| $10 / mo | Keeps one gathering stocked with materials all year |
| $25 / mo | Covers the website that helps people find us |
| $50 / mo | Covers the tools that keep our people connected |
| $100 / mo | Outfits a brand new gathering every year |
| $250 / mo | Helps us expand our reach even further, new gatherings from launch through its first year |
Recurring gifts are processed automatically each month. You can change the amount or stop giving whenever you want, and you will get one receipt at the end of the year for everything you gave.
Every gift stays in Central Florida.
About $83,475 a year covers Shade Tree: chairs and materials, insurance so we can gather safely, the website, training for new leaders, and the salary that lets our director give this ministry his week. Each brand new Shade Tree gathering costs about $1,250 to outfit, and after that it runs on about $25 a month.
Shade Tree is a ministry of Thousand Hills Ministry Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 45-3697085). Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Checks can be made out to Thousand Hills Ministry Inc. with “Shade Tree” in the memo line, mailed to hello@shadetreedicipleship.org.

Money is not the only way to show up.
